CMC MISSION MILONGA: An Intimate Valentine’s Tango Salon

This month, we are happy to present Claudio Ortega, Tango singer from Buenos Aires and guitarist Hugo Wainzinger to serenade your Valentine with a live music set of dance-able romantic traditional Tango songs!

8-8:50pm: All level class with host Sonja Riket
9pm-12am: Milonga with DJ Mungai
10pm-10:30pm: Live music set of dance-able romantic traditional Tango songs by Claudio Ortega accompanied by guitarist Hugo Wainzinger

Entrance: $13 adults /$10 seniors & students with ID, all included.

Please, bring snacks and refreshments to share!

Both born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tango singer Claudio Ortega and guitarist Hugo Wainzinger bring the intensity and passion of Tango with each song and with each phrase.
Despite dating from many decades ago, these songs endure the passage of time with their exquisite poetry surrounding the essential struggles in the human soul. Come prepared to be serenated!

Every 2nd Saturday of the month, CMC and Tango dance faculty member Sonja Riket host a monthly Milonga (Argentine Tango social dance gathering) with a drop-in class and dancing to Tango music from the Golden Era and beyond. This Milonga series will include live music and dance performances by local and international Tango guests.

Enjoy dancing in the beautiful Victorian concert hall with smooth wooden floor and outdoor patio. Come to listen and watch or join in the dance. All ages are welcome.
