Tango Revolution in concert with JEREMY COHEN!

FRIDAY MAY 2, 2008 from 9pm-2am

What better occasion to celebrate MAY 1 and NATIONAL DANCE WEEK than bring together the spirit and passion of young musicians playing Argentine Tangos?

Tango Revolution musicians showcase their skill and enthusiasm for playing Golden Era and Nuevo Tangos for listening and dancing with renowned Quartet San Francisco’s guest musician Jeremy Cohen. In 2004 Quartet SF won the International Tango Competition in NYC and Cohen mentored the musicians with his expertise. Together with Abraham Becker and Pablo Motta (who also coached the musicians)Jeremy toured with the famed Forever Tango show.

Since 10 months, during the weekly Sunday Tango event at Caffe Trieste, a group of rotating musicians has committed itself to learning to play Argentine Tangos for dancing.
Come out to witness this budding revival of Live Tango Music for dancing and listen, watch or join in the dance!
